A Relaxing Retreat
Nestled at the foot of the Berkshires in the small town of New Lebanon, home of the Shakers, Ferndale is a 1870s farmhouse that have been lovingly restored over the last 4 years.
Taking cues from its Shaker origins, the house has been completely modernized, while honoring as much original and humble farm house details as possible. Outside the property feels largely unspoiled — from the 2 large fields that provide deer and pheasant watching, the apple trees reminiscent of the apple orchard that once stood, to the 23 acres of woodlands, streams and paths—a welcome weekend retreat with all the modern touches you could ask for.
